Walking through a craft/fabric/sewing store can be a really inspiring experience. For those who are naturally creative, the possibilities are endless and each aisle is filled with possibilities and ideas. Where one person might see a stack of fabric and a pile of buttons on clearance, another person will see their design collection for next season or the building blocks of their future child's nursery. It's all about perspective and imagination. We love to see what customers create with our products and it is always interesting to see how differently designers will use the same product. With this idea in mind, we have decided to round up four project ideas, all using the same product - our Fun With Food - Carrot buttons from Buttons Galore. These cute and kitschy buttons are just the thing to breathe some festive flare into your upcoming fall projects.
DIY via New Dress A Day
The button-down denim dress is something of a closet staple. It's casual, comfortable and looks good with anything. It is also seasonless and can effortlessly transition from summer to fall. This simple DIY can only be improved by a feminine lace collar and quirky carrot buttons which are a playful nod to the colours of autumn.

If there is one skirt that should be in every woman's closet, it's the pencil skirt. Despite what some people may believe, the pencil skirt is not just for the office, or formal occasions. It can easily be dressed down with a t-shirt or cozy sweater. Plaid patches give is a fun, punky edge while the carrot buttons lend some festive charm (and make getting in and out of the skirt so much easier).
