At N. Jefferson Ltd. we believe in giving back to the community and supporting meaningful causes above everything else. We are fortunate to be in the position we are in and unfortunately, we know that not everyone is quite as fortunate. One charity that is incredibly close to our hearts is Mom2Mom. It is a Vancouver-based company that focuses on improving the lives of children who are living in poverty. They provide support to struggling mothers and families, helping to alleviate the stress of poverty, while connecting the children's mothers with their schools and with opportunities and resources within their communities. Mom2Mom works to create relationships with these mothers and families, providing them with much needed support, kindness, and compassion. There is so much that this organization does and the staff and volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to helping these children and families are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Giving Tuesday, is an excellent opportunity to support this amazing cause. Tomorrow, November 29th, is the day when different companies and organizations get together to encourage others to show support and donate to different causes. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it feels right and fitting to give to those who can barely have their basic needs met. Mom2Mom is one of the organizations that will be participating and they are striving to earn donations for their Compassion Fund. Their Compassion Fund helps impoverished families by giving them immediate access to emergency necessities and unexpected costs. Medication, access to transportation, and part-time work are only some of the many resources that the Compassion Fund helps provide for families.
